SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: New Naturally ME T-Shirt

Ever since I first introduced my Naturally ME series of t-shirts, I've had inquiries about making a long sleeve version available.  I liked the idea but it wasn't my focus at the time.  Well, I finally got around to designing the tee, and here it is:

Naturally ME Long Sleeve T-Shirt

The shirt is 100% pre-shrunk cotton and has contoured sides for a nice feminine silhouette.  It's very comfortable and durable too.

This Naturally ME design is currently the only one that is available in a long sleeve t-shirt.  The other designs in the series are still offered in only the short sleeve version.  They're all available in the SKCreations, LLC online boutique.

Holiday Show on Black Friday

This holiday season, I will be participating in the first weekend of the annual BZB Holiday Gift & Art Show.  It's their 25th year and they are going all out.  To celebrate this milestone, they will be giving away $25 - $100 cash prizes every hour!  Now, that's a welcome holiday treat!  The show will be held at the Shiloh Family Life Center, located at 1510 9th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20001.  There will be lots of vendors with lots of goodies, so you're sure to find something that's on your holiday gift list or maybe something for yourself.

SKCreations, LLC will be participating on Friday, November 27th and Saturday, November 28th.  The hours are 10am until 7pm, and admission is FREE.

SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: New Poncho Tops

I recently completed a new surface design collection, titled Kindred.  There are three designs in the collection, each with a different color palette and design layout.  I decided to have the designs printed onto a super soft organic cotton knit fabric, which is perfect for my new Poncho Tops.

The tops are light in weight and very comfortable, and the unique design features a shorter back to create a shawl effect from behind.

SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: The Shay Maxi Skirt/Tube Dress in Naturally ME Noir 2

I am very thankful for the reception that my new products, The Shay Maxi Skirt/Tube Dresses, have received.  One customer who purchased a skirt made a special request for a second.  She'd seen my Naturally ME Noir 2 t-shirt and asked if I could make a skirt using that design.  I hadn't considered it before, but I got excited about the idea.  I knew it would require a bit more fabric since it has a design which would need specific placement on the skirt, but I was sure it would work.  Well, not only did it work, I am thrilled with the result!

I shipped the finished product off to my customer, and two days later she sent me this message and photo:

"I got my skirt!  LOVE IT LOVE IT!  Thank you so much!"

SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: Closeout - Gadget Accessories on Sale!

I am discontinuing the Zodiac Sun and Zodiac Stripe lines of Gadget Accessories at the end of this month, so all items in the lines are now On Sale.  Prices have been reduced 20%, and products will be available to order through Monday, August 31, 2015.

SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: Kindred I

I've been working on some new surface designs, and I recently had the first of them printed onto fabric.  The name of the design is Kindred I, and it has a tribal and ethnic theme.  It's simple but the symbols are bold, and I decided to have it printed onto a very soft and wonderful organic cotton interlock knit fabric.  I'm so pleased with the result.  It really captures the essence of what I was going for.  I can't wait to start working with it.  For now, here's a peek:

Fab 5 Friday - The Shay Maxi Skirt and Tube Dress

My Fab5Friday finds this week are the The Shay Maxi Skirts and Tube Dresses by yours truly.  It's actually one article of clothing that serves double duty.  It's crafted from the same super soft, stretchy, modern jersey fabric used for my Infinity Scarves, and features several of my original surface designs.  As a skirt, the wide waistband can be worn fully opened or folded over, either at the natural waist or just above the hip, and the full skirt has a flirty flare.  It's so comfortable too!  Check out these and more in the SKCreations, LLC online boutique!
