SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: Fusion 3

In some parts of the world they are celebrating Carnival, a time of celebration, merrymaking and feasts.  The weather is usually accommodating for the outdoor festivities, warm and sunny.  Here on the East Coast of the U.S. however, the current weather inspires thoughts of hibernation instead of celebration.  The temps are in the single digits during the night and early morning, with daytime temps ranging in the teens and twenties.  If that isn't bad enough, the wind has been brutal.  Gusts were as high as 60 mph over the weekend, causing wind chill temps to be in the negative zone.  They've settled down a bit, but whip up periodically to let us know that they're not done yet.  Now they're calling for snow tonight, which is something I never get excited about.  I've started doing my countdown to Spring... 32 days. :-)

While my body is trying to stay warm, my mind is firing up its own celebration, which has led to my Fusion series of surface designs.  It makes me think of the Caribbean, and fun festivities in the sun.  I've made these bold designs available on a variety of items, including cell phone cases, clocks, pillows, rugs and more.  Below is a sample of some of these products featuring my Fusion 3 design.  You'll find these and more in my shop on Society 6.

If you've visited the SKCreations website, you may have noticed my abstract surface design collection titled A-Maze.  I created the initial design one day when I was in a doodling mood, so I didn't have anything in particular in mind when I started.  I was basically going freestyle.  After playing around with it though, I ended up with something I really liked and decided to try it in four different colorways. 

I decided to see how the designs would look on a variety of products.  Here are some samples:

SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: Garden Delight

It's Spring!  Never mind the fact that it's the 31st of March and we actually had SNOW here yesterday.  I believe Mother Nature has failed to check her calendar.  Anyway, today is a beautiful, mild and sunny day, and it also happens to be my birthday!  I am a Spring baby in every sense of the word.  I'm usually pretty positive, but my mood gets even lighter at this time of year.  Unfortunately, I am an allergy sufferer, but I vow not to complain because I'll take a bit of pollen any day over the cold and snow.

Pretty soon the flowers will be in bloom and the season will be in its glory.  I'm getting a jump on it with my new surface design, Garden Delight.  I'm showing it here on some items that can be found in the SKCreations shop on Society6.  They're sure to add a touch of Spring to your home decor.  Pollen not included.

SKCreations, LLC Surface Design: Stylus

Need a stylus?  I've got a supply of them these days.  I use them for my laptop, tablet and smartphone.  Nowadays the stylus is almost as essential to me as a pen, and you can find them in all sizes and colors.  I have a couple that are embellished with a bit of bling, and one that has an LED light and red laser pointer.  Yes, I use them all.

It's March!  There might be snow on the ground, but Spring is right around the corner (only 16 more days) and I can't wait.  I just hope Mother Nature is on board!  I'm gearing up with my new surface design collection, Flutterby, which anticipates the return of the butterflies.  Bring it on!  Items below are available at Society 6.

SKCreations, LLC's surface designs can now be found on Wall Clocks, courtesy of Society6!  I love this addition to their product line.  I'm a clock/watch fanatic anyway, and it's exciting to see my designs on something everyone can use.  You can choose between three frame colors and two hand colors based on your preferences.  Here are a few of my latest.
